I’m ridiculously close to declaring Art Theory & Practice as a second major.
yeah, it’s terrifying. There’s no minor, and I have serious doubts about being able to finish the course work in time for the major—especially with scheduling difficulties and the likelihood of being abroad next fall.
What’s even more terrifying is that it’s art. FUCKIN’ ART, MAN.
Sometimes I feel like I can throw together a whole bunch of crap, some abstract display or interactive installation, tie in some random, profound existential statement, and be lauded for my brilliance.
What’s even more terrifying is that I’m afraid this decision is partially fueled by my unhappiness this quarter. I’m very happy with a lot of aspects of my life, but the few that I’m discontent with are so prominent that I think about not being here, think about spending an entire year abroad, think about immersing myself in a studio where I don’t have to deal with things. I don’t know.
WHOA, tl;dr, next post will have some artsy ass photo with faded coloring to appeal to the hipster girl demographic that apparently likes to follow me on tumblr.
